Description

A 300-litre cheese vat is the volume most cheese workshops start with: our website describes 7 projects with VS-300 and VSAP-300 cheese vats — in Krasnodar Krai, Stavropol Krai, the Sverdlovsk, Tula, Tver and Nizhny Novgorod Regions and Sakha (Yakutia) Republic.

In a 300 L workshop, milk is received and cooled in a milk cooling tank, pasteurized in a VDP batch pasteurizer or directly in the cheese vat, and standardized with a cream separator if needed. The cheese vat produces the curd grains, followed by moulding on a table, pressing in a pneumatic press, brining and ripening.

Many producers use the cream left after standardization to make butter — a butter churn is added to the set.

Price from €11,200. The final cost depends on the configuration, technical specifications and the tasks the equipment is selected for: volume and capacity, heating type, level of automation and options. Write or call us — our process engineer will select a suitable option and prepare a quotation within one business day.

FAQ

Why is 300 L a popular starting volume?

It means one or two batches per shift from a small farm's own milk or purchased milk, and the volume already yields marketable batches of cheese. Our website describes 7 projects with 300 L cheese vats.

Which press is needed for 300 L?

A pneumatic press: it holds the set force without an operator. The number of mould positions is selected for your cheeses.

Can butter be made as well?

Yes. The cream left after standardization is churned in a butter churn — for example, a customer from Krasnodar Krai bought a VS-300 cheese vat together with a butter churn.

Can I order just the equipment, without a building?

Yes. We supply an equipment set for your premises, or a modular sandwich-panel workshop with the equipment installed and connected, utilities and ventilation — it is placed on a foundation and connected.

How much does equipment for a 300 L workshop cost?

A set costs from €11,200. The final cost depends on the composition, volumes and level of automation: our dairy process engineer will select equipment for your product, and we will prepare a quotation within one working day.

Where is this equipment already in operation?

Our website describes 5 projects with this equipment. Regions: Nizhny Novgorod Region, Krasnodar Krai, Sakha (Yakutia) Republic, Tver Region, Tula Region. Customers: manufacturing company, private producer, family farm. See the "Projects with this equipment" block and the Projects section.
