Description
A workshop processing 500–600 L of milk per shift is the next step after a mini cheese dairy: milk is now transferred by pumps, pasteurized in a separate vat, and several cheeses are pressed at once.
The core is a VS-500 or VS-600 cheese vat with a heating jacket (electric heating elements or steam) and an agitator. Upstream are milk reception and cooling in a milk cooling tank, pasteurization in a VDP-500 or VDP-630 batch pasteurizer, and a cream separator for standardization. Milk is transferred between tanks by a milk pump. Downstream of the cheese vat are moulding tables, moulds and pneumatic presses.
This is how our customers grow: a private cheese dairy in the Sverdlovsk Region moved to a VS-500 when small volumes no longer gave enough batches per shift.
Price from €11,200. The final cost depends on the configuration, technical specifications and the tasks the equipment is selected for: volume and capacity, heating type, level of automation and options. Write or call us — our process engineer will select a suitable option and prepare a quotation within one business day.

FAQ
Is separate pasteurization needed?
At 500–600 L it is more convenient to pasteurize milk in a VDP batch pasteurizer: while a batch is being made in the cheese vat, the next batch is prepared in the VDP.
Which separator is needed?
Usually 500 L/h or more — these are the separators ordered from us most often. We test each one on water before shipment.
Can two smaller cheese vats be installed instead?
Yes, this is also done: two cheese vats give flexibility in recipes. An example is a cheese workshop set with two cheese vats in the Ulyanovsk Region.
Can I order just the equipment, without a building?
Yes. We supply an equipment set for your premises, or a modular sandwich-panel workshop with the equipment installed and connected, utilities and ventilation — it is placed on a foundation and connected.
How much does equipment for a cheese workshop cost?
A set costs from €11,200. The final cost depends on the composition, volumes and level of automation: our dairy process engineer will select equipment for your product, and we will prepare a quotation within one working day.
Where is this equipment already in operation?
Our website describes 4 projects with this equipment. Regions: Sverdlovsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Kazakhstan, Krasnodar Krai. Customers: private producer, manufacturing company, dairy plant. See the "Projects with this equipment" block and the Projects section.
