Description

150- and 200-litre cheese vats are the most common volume in Milberg's supplies: our website describes 14 such projects, from private cheese dairies to production companies. This is the volume at which farm cheese making becomes regular production.

The set is built around the cheese vat: a basic VS or an automated VSA / VSAP automatic cheese vat that runs pasteurization, fermentation and stirring according to a set programme. It is complemented by a pneumatic press that holds the force without an operator, moulds for your recipe, a moulding table and a cream separator for milk standardization. If pasteurization is done in a separate vessel, a VDP batch pasteurizer is added.

Our customers show how such a set grows: they add a press and moulds to the cheese vat, then a butter churn for the whey cream, and then a second cheese vat.

Price from €11,200. The final cost depends on the configuration, technical specifications and the tasks the equipment is selected for: volume and capacity, heating type, level of automation and options. Write or call us — our process engineer will select a suitable option and prepare a quotation within one business day.

FAQ

What is the difference between VS, VSA and VSAP?

VS is the basic cheese vat: product and jacket temperatures are maintained automatically by two sensors. VSA and VSAP are automated: they run pasteurization, fermentation and stirring according to the programme set by the dairy process engineer.

Is a separate pasteurizer needed?

Milk can be pasteurized directly in the cheese vat. A separate VDP batch pasteurizer is installed when the cheese vat needs to be free for the next batch.

Can production be expanded gradually?

Yes. Usually customers start with a cheese vat, a press and moulds, then add a butter churn and a second cheese vat — several of our customers have done exactly this.

Can I order just the equipment, without a building?

Yes. We supply an equipment set for your premises, or a modular sandwich-panel workshop with the equipment installed and connected, utilities and ventilation — it is placed on a foundation and connected.

How much does the set cost?

A set costs from €11,200. The final cost depends on the composition, volumes and level of automation: our dairy process engineer will select equipment for your product, and we will prepare a quotation within one working day.

Where is this equipment already in operation?

Our website describes 6 projects with this equipment. Regions: Saint Petersburg, Moscow Region, Tula Region, Tomsk Region. Customers: private producer, manufacturing company, family farm. See the "Projects with this equipment" block and the Projects section.
