Packaging equipment
FMB butter packing machines, semi-automatic extruders, UD-2 dosing and filling units, UPS-2 cup sealers, USR wire cutters for butter blocks
Packing equipment is selected by product and container: liquid and viscous dairy products are filled into bottles and cups, while butter is packed into bricks, blocks or pieces. Milberg makes dosers and cup sealing units, automatic and semi-automatic butter packing machines, and equipment for preparing butter for packing — homogenizers, shredders and crystallizers.

How to choose packing equipment
- Product. Milk, kefir, yogurt, sour cream — the UD-2 doser. Butter, margarine, spread — the FMB machine, a semi-automatic extruder, a butter cutter or a carton packing machine.
- Container. Bottles and cups — UD-2; foil sealing of cups — UPS-2. 100–1,000 g bricks — FMB. 20–25 kg blocks — carton packing machine.
- Butter preparation. Before packing, blocks are passed through a butter homogenizer, and frozen blocks also through a shredder. Butter from a continuous butter maker is cooled in a crystallizer.
- Volume. Semi-automatic machines and butter cutters are for small and medium volumes; the FMB machine packs 30–90 packs per minute.
