Description

From 1,000 L of milk per shift, cheese is made in a continuous process: the equipment is connected by pipework with valves, milk is transferred by pumps and pasteurized in-line, and process operations can be automated.

The cheese section of the line is built around a double-O cheese vat of 1,250 L or more, or two cheese vats of 500–600 L each. Milk is received and metered at the reception station, cooled and held in tanks, pasteurized in a tubular pasteurizer or a VDP-1000, and standardized with a separator. Then come moulding, pneumatic presses and moulds.

Example: complete equipment for a cheese plant in the Moscow Region — 13 supply contracts, from the cheese vat and presses to the pasteurizer and curd vat.

Price from €11,200. The final cost depends on the configuration, technical specifications and the tasks the equipment is selected for: volume and capacity, heating type, level of automation and options. Write or call us — our process engineer will select a suitable option and prepare a quotation within one business day.

FAQ

Double-O vat or two cheese vats?

The double-O is a twin vat from 1,250 L for large batches of a single cheese. Two cheese vats give flexibility, as different recipes can be made in parallel.

Tubular pasteurizer or VDP?

The tubular pasteurizer works in-line and suits large volumes, while the VDP pasteurizes in batches. We compared them in detail in the article "VDP or tubular pasteurizer".

Do you provide automation?

Yes, process control cabinets are made to order for your line.

Can I get just the equipment, without a building?

Yes. We supply a set of equipment for your premises, or a modular sandwich-panel plant with the equipment installed and piped, utilities and ventilation, which is placed on a foundation and connected.

How much does a cheese production line cost?

Prices for a set start from €11,200. The final price depends on the scope, volumes and degree of automation. Our dairy process engineer will select equipment for your product, and we will prepare a quotation within one working day.

Where is this equipment already in operation?
