Description
A line for 400–1,200 L of cream per cycle is the butter workshop of a dairy plant or cooperative: several butter churns, mechanized butter feed and automatic packing.
Cream is standardized and pasteurized in VN cream ripening vats (from 300 to 2,500 L) and churned in MI-400, MI-500, MI-700, MI-1000 or MI-1200 drum butter churns. The finished butter is fed by screw to packing: the FMB machine packs wrapped blocks, the semi-automatic extruder makes portions, and the USR-11 unit cuts butter blocks.
Examples: the butter workshop of an agricultural cooperative in Irkutsk Region (MI-1000 and a screw butter feed unit) and a butter workshop in Kazakhstan with MI-400 and MI-1200 churns.
Price from €11,200. The final cost depends on the configuration, technical specifications and the tasks the equipment is selected for: volume and capacity, heating type, level of automation and options. FAQ
What are the largest butter churns?
We make them from 30 to 3,000 L. Our supplies so far go up to the MI-1200.
Can packing be automated?
Yes. The FMB machine packs wrapped blocks, and there is also a carton packing machine and screw feed of butter to packing.

Yes, there is a separate set for processing butter blocks — shredding, homogenizing, cutting and packing.

How much does a butter line cost?
