Description

The Milberg FMB packing machine packs butter, margarine, spread, tvorog (quark) and other paste-like products into 100 to 1000 g blocks wrapped in foil, laminate or parchment, at 30–90 packs per minute. The product is fed from a hopper (usually after a butter homogenizer) or directly from the butter-making machine via a crystallizer. Dosing is performed by a servo-driven volumetric doser, the pack format is changed from the touch panel, and all moving parts are enclosed by guards with sensors. The machine is a domestically built replacement for Soviet-era ARM machines and imported packers.

The Milberg packing machine is designed for packing butter, margarine, spread, minced meat, tvorog, edible fats, ice cream, fresh cheese, sweet curd mass and other paste-like products into aluminium foil, laminate or parchment paper. Product feed: from a hopper or directly from the production line. A wide range of pack sizes from 100 to 1000 g to choose from (standard formats 100×75×(24–36), Euro pack 110×60, 195×65×40 and others), a robust machine design, convenient maintenance and simple changeover.

The machine is comparable to modern machines from leading international manufacturers and was developed as an import substitute. The Milberg machine has an order of magnitude fewer moving parts requiring maintenance, repair and replacement. All moving parts are enclosed by a transparent polycarbonate guard with limit switches, which reduces and almost completely eliminates the risk of workplace accidents. The touch control panel lets you select operating modes, display parameters, set the capacity and adjust the dose.

Options for the FMB Milberg packing machine: - Swivel/extended conveyor - Inkjet printer - Automatic lubrication system. The machine is fitted with an SKF central lubrication station. - Pack format change kit. The machine can change the pack format - Hopper lid - Doser heater. Heated cut-off knife (sometimes used for margarine packing). - Additional set of parts for changing the pack weight (by adjusting the pack height). The customer can change the height of the section and the weight by swapping the additional set of parts. - Set of recommended spare parts for 2 years. Most of the recommended consumables for 2 years of operation. - Automatic product level sensor in the hopper. The level sensor indicates when the product level is too low or too high; it is usually ordered when the machine works with a homogenizer, to control the speed of the homogenizer screws. - Packaging material control. A sensor monitors the remaining packaging material and stops the machine when it runs out. - Hopper lid with HEPA chamber. Hopper lid opening with a safety sensor (interlock) and an incoming air filtration system. HEPA. Incoming air filtration system with supply to an isolated packing zone. - CIP cleaning of the doser. The doser is designed for CIP cleaning - Crystallizer heat exchanger for direct packing of butter from the butter-making machine. - Germicidal lamp. UV lamp for irradiating the packaging material - GM Milberg stainless steel butter homogenizer

Advantages

  • All moving parts are enclosed by a transparent polycarbonate guard with limit switches, which reduces and almost completely eliminates the risk of workplace accidents
  • The touch control panel lets you select the operating mode, display parameters, set the capacity and adjust the dose
  • Accurate dosing by a servo-driven volumetric doser
  • The frame and all assemblies are made of stainless steel, duralumin and plastic, so nothing rots or rusts over the entire service life of the machine
  • Quick changeover to another wrapper size, directly from the touch control panel
  • Full filling of the block corners when packing 500 g, thanks to the special design of the doser nozzle

FAQ

What pack formats are available?

From 100 to 1000 g, including the standard 100×75 mm pack (180–250 g), the 110×60 mm Euro pack, 500 g and 1000 g; non-standard formats to order. A changeover kit is available for switching formats.

What is the capacity?

30–90 packs per minute, depending on pack weight and product. Tell us how much butter you produce per shift and the pack weight, and we will select the configuration.

Can it pack directly from the butter-making machine?

Yes, via a crystallizer, which cools the butter to packing temperature, while the direct packing unit feeds it into the machine's doser. Butter from blocks is fed through a homogenizer.

How are packs placed into cartons?

A semi-automatic stacker is available that forms a stack of blocks, and the operator puts the carton on. For larger volumes there is an automatic stacker, which costs more.

Who does the commissioning, and where can I see the machine in operation?

We manufacture the machines ourselves and do the commissioning ourselves. We will send you videos of the machine in operation, and contacts of plants where our machines are installed are available on request.

How much does the packing machine cost?

We calculate the price for your task, based on pack format, capacity and options (printer, sensors, CIP cleaning of the doser, HEPA chamber, spare parts). We will prepare a quotation within one working day.
