Description
The USR-11 wire cutter (butter cutter, butter cutting machine) cuts a butter block of up to 25 kg into portions for manual wrapping in parchment or foil — for example, a 20 kg block into 20 pieces of 1 kg or into 200 g bars. The block is placed on the table and, at the press of the Start button, the machine pushes it through a die strung with wires; the piece size is set by the die, which we make for your weight. It suits mini workshops and family farms with volumes of up to 2 t per shift, and also cuts soft and hard cheeses and products of similar density.
All product-contact surfaces are made of food-grade stainless steel, and the pusher of food-grade plastic. A die for cutting round cheeses is available. A pack cut this way stands out on the shelf as a "farm" product. We make models with vertical and horizontal block feed, machines for lengthwise and crosswise cutting, guillotine-type cutters, and semi-automatic extrusion portioning machines (extruders).

What size are the pieces?
Any size — to suit your die. For example, a 20 kg block is cut into 20 pieces of 1 kg or into 200 g bars. Several dies for different weights can be ordered with the machine.
When does a butter cutter pay off, and when is a semi-automatic or automatic machine better?
A butter cutter is justified from 5 blocks a day if the butter is packed by hand. Pieces of different shapes are more convenient to portion with a semi-automatic extruder, and bricks in foil or parchment with an automatic packing machine.
Can it cut cheese?
Yes: soft and hard cheeses and products of similar density. We make a separate die for round cheeses.
What are the lead times?
