Moving from selling butter by weight to packed bars is a standard growth stage for a butter producer. A production company from the Omsk Region reached it in summer 2025: output had grown, and dividing butter blocks by hand had become the bottleneck of the workshop.
In July 2025 we shipped the customer a USR-11 wire cutter for butter blocks. It divides a standard butter block into bars of equal size in one pass: the wire frame passes through the block without crushing the product or disturbing its structure.
For production this brings three tangible benefits. First, a consistent bar size — less grading error and fewer losses on top-up pieces. Second, a smooth, glossy cut that makes the product look neat in any packaging. Third, speed: one operator handles a volume that previously required several people with knives and scales.
The unit is made of stainless steel, is easy to dismantle for cleaning and requires no complex maintenance — for a Siberian plant with a heavily loaded workshop this is an important argument in favour of simple, reliable mechanics that work every day without downtime for repairs. The equipment reached the customer on the agreed date and was commissioned by the plant's own staff.
