An export delivery to Kazakhstan in February 2026: a production company developing a packed butter line ordered a USR-11 wire cutter for butter blocks from Milberg.
The task was typical of a growing butter workshop. Butter arrives at the packing section in 20 kg blocks, and cutting by knife produced uneven bars with a noticeable spread in weight. When switching to portion-packed products for retail, this spread turns into direct losses: part of the product is given away as overweight, and some batches go back for re-trimming and re-weighing.
The USR-11 solves this mechanically: the block is placed on the worktable and, in a single pass through a frame with tensioned wires, is divided into bars of a set size. The wires give a clean, smooth cut without dents or crumbs, and changing to a different bar format takes minimal time — just swap the frame. All product-contact surfaces are made of food-grade stainless steel and are easy to clean, which is especially important for a fatty product.
For the company this means consistent portion weight, a neat, market-ready bar for wrapping and a noticeably faster preparation-for-packing section compared with manual cutting. The equipment was inspected before shipment and delivered to the customer in Kazakhstan with a full set of accompanying documentation.
