Semi-automatic packing, or a budget option for packing butter

Semi-automatic packing, or a budget option for packing butter.

The budget option for packing butter involves cutting butter blocks (20–25 kg) into pieces of 50–1,000 g. Cutting is performed automatically on the butter shredding unit; you only need to set the cutting thickness on the control panel.

The pieces are then wrapped in parchment paper by hand and weighed on scales with a printer, which prints a self-adhesive label with your own design and all the required information.

This method requires a small investment in equipment (roughly four to five times less than conventional automatic packing), while the packed butter looks like a natural "farm" product and stands out on the shop shelf.

Milberg has also launched a new wire cutter for butter blocks. The wire cutting unit is designed for semi-automatic cutting of butter. Unlike the ISM butter shredder, the wire cutting unit only cuts butter, has no device for feeding the pieces into a packing machine, and is smaller and cheaper. The Milberg wire cutting unit for butter is used by small businesses, smallholdings and family farms.
