Description
A paddle mixer mixes the product with paddles mounted on a shaft inside a stationary body: the paddles lift and throw the product, mixing the whole volume. It is used for dry bulk blends, powders and granules, including with liquid additions.
Milberg makes paddle mixers from 30 to 3,000 L in stainless steel for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. A version for pharmaceutical production is available. We select the agitator design for the product and batch size.
A paddle mixer is chosen for products that do not mix well by tumbling in a rotating drum: caking products, particles of different sizes, blends with liquid additives.
