In April 2025 a Moscow production company handling butter in industrial volumes purchased a USR-11 wire cutter for butter blocks from us.

The task is typical of packing companies: butter arrives on site in blocks and must be divided into bars before packing or sale. By hand this is slow, unsafe and inaccurate — pieces come out at different weights, and trimmings turn into losses. The USR-11 solves the problem: tensioned wires divide the block into portions of a set size in a single pass, with a smooth, neat cut.

For the customer this means predictable portion weights, a faster preparation section and less manual labour in the cold workshop. The unit is made of food-grade stainless steel, the wire frames can be changed to suit the required bar format, and cleaning takes only minutes — an important feature for a plant with daily sanitation cycles.

The unit was manufactured at our factory in Yekaterinburg, checked with test cuts and handed over to the customer in Moscow together with a set of documentation. The company's butter preparation section now runs in step with packing, with no bottleneck at cutting — and the staff previously busy cutting by hand have been moved to operations that truly require manual work.
