When butter packing is held back by manual cutting, further growth is difficult: people get tired, bar sizes vary and the cut surface is uneven. A manufacturing company in the Samara Region learned this from its own experience and in November 2023 bought from the Milberg factory a USR-11 wire cutter for butter blocks — equipment designed precisely for this operation.
The unit cuts a butter block with tensioned wires: the block is divided into identical bars in a single pass, the cut is dense and smooth, and the product is neither crushed nor warmed by friction as it is when cut with a knife. Setting the cutting pitch for the required bar size takes just a few minutes.
This is critical for presentation: a bar with straight edges and a clean cut looks like a factory product on the shelf, not a slab from a market stall. It is no less important economically: identical portion sizes mean a predictable yield from every block and a minimum of trimmings that have to be sent for reprocessing.
The food-grade stainless steel construction can be dismantled for washing in minutes, and the wires can be replaced on site by the operator if necessary. Simple equipment that does one operation — but does it quickly and equally well thousands of times in a row, shift after shift.
