In August 2024 a large dairy plant in Kazakhstan added our USR-11 wire cutter for butter blocks to its butter workshop. The request came from the plant's technology department: the cutting section could not keep up with packing and was holding back the whole line.
The plant handles large volumes of butter: after maturing in the cold room, blocks must be divided quickly and accurately — for packing, for shipment in portion blocks and for in-house processing. At such volumes manual cutting becomes a bottleneck: it is slow, prone to injuries and produces a noticeable spread in piece weight.
The USR-11 eliminates these problems. The wire frame passes through the block in one stroke and divides it into bars of equal size with a clean cut — no burrs or crushed edges. The operator only has to load the block and move the frame; the productivity of the cutting section increases many times over compared with a knife, and the piece geometry is consistent from batch to batch.
The unit is made of food-grade stainless steel and designed for intensive use in an industrial workshop. We manufactured it in Yekaterinburg, tested it and shipped it to Kazakhstan with a full set of export documents — deliveries to Kazakhstan have long been a regular destination for Milberg.
