The USHPR-01 butter screw feeder is equipment that rarely makes the catalogue's front page, yet the rhythm of the packing section depends on it. In August 2024 a family farm in the Tula Region that is developing its own milk processing ordered one.
The farm makes butter and faced a typical problem of manual feeding: product had to be transferred from tanks to packing by hand, in batches, with inevitable downtime and unnecessary contact between the butter and hands and utensils. As volumes grew, this operation began to take a disproportionate amount of time.
The USHPR-01 solves the task with screw conveying: butter is fed evenly and continuously from the receiving hopper to the packing equipment. The product travels along an enclosed path of food-grade stainless steel, which reduces contact with air and staff and directly benefits production hygiene and the shelf life of the finished product.
The unit was built to suit the layout of the customer's specific section — loading height and product discharge point. This made it possible to integrate it into the existing chain without rebuilding the workshop: the butter churn, screw feeder and packing now work as a single line, and staff are busy monitoring the process rather than carrying product.
