Shredding a block of frozen butter is the operation that starts almost any further processing of it. In January 2022 a production company from the Karachay-Cherkess Republic purchased a UIM-01 butter shredding unit from us.

The customer uses butter as a raw material: before melting, homogenization or adding it to recipes, blocks taken from the freezer must be shredded quickly. Waiting for natural thawing means losing hours and risking the quality of the surface layer; chopping by hand is hard and unsafe work.

The UIM-01 turns a frozen block into shavings within minutes. The shredded mass tempers quickly and evenly, is easier to dose and melts without local overheating — which directly affects the consistency of the subsequent processes. The working parts and housing are made of food-grade stainless steel and designed for daily sanitation.

We manufactured the unit at our factory in Yekaterinburg, tested it on sample blocks and shipped it to the customer. The plant's butter preparation section no longer depends on manual labour or thawing schedules — the raw material enters processing at a steady pace and in the condition the technology requires.
