Cutting product blocks is an operation that a growing business sooner or later has to mechanize. A manufacturing company from the Rostov Region came to us with exactly this task: dividing large blocks of product into portions by hand had become too slow and inaccurate.

For this request an MRM block cutting machine was built and delivered in April 2024. This is an item the factory makes for a specific customer's task: the cutting geometry, the size of the resulting bars and the output are agreed when the order is worked out, rather than adjusted to a catalogue standard.

The machine divides the block into equal-sized pieces with a clean cut while preserving the product's structure. The operator only has to load the block and take the finished portions, which then go on to packing. Consistent piece geometry reduces trimming losses and speeds up the packing section.

Southern Russia is one of the country's most active dairy regions, and we regularly fulfil orders from there. The ability to build a non-standard item for the customer's process, instead of making the customer adapt to a standard range, is exactly why such customers come directly to the manufacturer.
