A small private producer from the Voronezh Region started with cream and sour cream and then decided to add its own butter to the range. A compact but fully featured butter churn was needed to get started: without a professional churn, consistent butter quality is impossible. In May 2024 the customer received an MI-50 batch butter churn with a working capacity of 50 litres. This is a classic churn without working rollers: the drum rotates, cream is churned to butter grains, then the buttermilk is separated and the butter mass is washed and worked — the entire cycle takes place in one machine without intermediate transfers. For a small producer the MI-50 is convenient precisely because of its scale: it allows cream to be processed in small batches as it accumulates, without requiring large floor space or a powerful electricity supply. The food-grade stainless steel body and easy washing allow one operator to work with the machine every day. The farm now covers the full processing cycle: it gets cream from its own milk and butter from the cream, while the buttermilk is put to use as raw material for other products. The range has been expanded without involving an outside processor, and all the added value of processing stays within the farm.
