Year-end equipment purchases are usually the most carefully considered — budgets are closed on what is really needed. In December 2018 a manufacturing company from Kazakhstan received an MI-320 batch butter churn from us — a machine chosen to suit the specific economics of its butter section. A capacity of 320 litres of cream per cycle is the mid-range format of the line: larger than the entry-level models, but without the infrastructure requirements of the largest machine. For a company with a steady but not industrial-plant volume of raw material, this is the optimum: full utilization without downtime and without running at the limit. Technologically the MI-320 covers the whole cycle: churning cream, separating and draining buttermilk, washing the butter grains and working them to a marketable plastic consistency. Adjustable modes allow adaptation to seasonal changes in the fat content of the raw material — which matters when working with farm milk. Delivery to Kazakhstan followed a well-established route within the EAEU, with a full set of documents for start-up. Today such shipments to neighbouring EAEU countries are a regular part of the Milberg factory's geography, and this case was one of those that shaped it: the first machine for EAEU neighbours is usually followed by requests for related butter workshop equipment.
