Adygea is known for its dairy traditions far beyond the republic, and local processors take product quality very seriously. A manufacturing company from the Republic of Adygea decided to add its own butter to its range and turned to the Milberg factory for equipment. In February 2024 an MI-320 batch butter churn was delivered to the plant. The 320-litre unit churns cream into butter grains, after which washing of the grains and working of the butter to the required dense, plastic consistency are carried out in the same drum. The batch principle is convenient for producers with variable load: full batches can be churned in the high-milk season and smaller ones in the off-season, without compromising process quality. Tilting the drum simplifies unloading of finished butter and sanitation, and the churning mode is selected for the fat content and temperature of the cream. Its own butter has allowed the company to make fuller use of its raw material: cream left over from milk separation is now turned into a product in its own right with high added value rather than being sold to others. The butter workshop has become a logical extension of the milk processing already in operation.
