Kuzbass is known for coal, but dairy processing is also well developed here — and local producers have equally demanding requirements for equipment. In March 2017 a manufacturing company from the Kemerovo Region purchased an MI-250 batch butter churn from the Milberg factory. The 250-litre unit became the main machine of the butter workshop: all stages of butter making take place in it — churning cream until butter grains form, separating and draining buttermilk, washing and mechanically working the butter mass to the set moisture content. The capacity was chosen to match the actual volumes of raw material intake: one or two loads per shift process the accumulated cream without the machine standing idle and without freezing raw material for storage. The food-grade stainless steel working drum is quick to wash, which is critical with daily production cycles. The 2017 delivery is one of those we point new customers to: the equipment is still working, and the butter workshop has been producing a product of consistent quality for years. A long service life without capital expenditure is the main argument for choosing batch butter churns. Over the years of operation the machine has required nothing beyond scheduled maintenance and timely washing.
