An agricultural cooperative from Kazakhstan came to us with a clear task: member farms supply a consistently large volume of milk, but until recently the cream went to third-party processors for next to nothing. The cooperative decided to close the chain in-house and launch butter production under its own brand. An MI-200 batch butter churn was selected for the start. It takes 200 litres of cream per cycle — enough to process the collected cream without night shifts — and the machine does not require a highly qualified operator: churning is monitored visually, and buttermilk draining and unloading of the butter grains are done without unnecessary manual operations. All product-contact surfaces are food-grade stainless steel, and washing takes minimal time. Delivery took place in April 2026. The equipment cleared formalities within the EAEU without difficulty — for customers from Kazakhstan this is a well-established route for the Milberg factory. Process recommendations on churning modes for sweet cream and cultured cream butter were provided together with the machine. The cooperative now sells not raw material but a finished value-added product: butter sold by weight and in blocks for local retail. The buttermilk goes back to the farms as feed — a zero-waste scheme that makes particular sense for the cooperative model.
