Butter from small producers is valued by buyers precisely for its "artisanal" character — churned from fresh cream, with no unnecessary ingredients. A manufacturing company from Krasnodar Krai was developing such a range and was choosing a butter churn to match its own cream volumes. In June 2021 the customer received an MI-150 batch butter churn. The 150-litre drum churns cream into butter grains in a single cycle; then, in the same unit, the grains are washed and worked to a dense, plastic consistency ready for packing. The batch process suits producers whose cream volume varies from day to day: the unit works properly at both full and partial load. The operator monitors the formation of butter grains visually through the inspection hatch, which allows churning to be stopped precisely for the required butter texture. For a southern region with well-developed dairy farming, an in-house butter workshop is a logical extension of processing: the company stopped selling surplus cream and began producing a finished product under its own brand. Milberg equipment became the basis of this section.
