The request from a manufacturing company in Krasnoyarsk Krai was very specific: a small butter churn for processing its own cream, without excess capacity or unnecessary start-up costs.
The MI-100 batch butter churn — the smallest model in the range, 100 litres of cream per cycle — fitted the task exactly. Technologically it is the same machine as the larger MI models: churning, washing the butter grains and working the butter in one food-grade stainless steel drum, with adjustable rotation modes. The only difference is scale — and the cost of entry into butter making.
The equipment was shipped to the customer in June 2019 together with a full set of documentation and recommendations on churning modes for cream of different fat content.
The company got exactly the section it had planned: cream is processed into butter as it accumulates, batches are small and always fresh, and the machine does not stand underused. Practice shows that many producers start butter making with the MI-100 and then, as sales grow, add a second machine or move to a larger model — the Milberg range allows scaling up without changing the technology already mastered: modes developed on the smaller machine carry over to the larger ones without retraining staff.
