A Moscow dairy producer needed to achieve uniform blending of ingredients: the company makes butter pastes and products with fillings, and on its previous equipment the additives were distributed unevenly through the mass — some batches had to be sent for reprocessing.
For this task we supplied a "Drunken barrel" (tumble) mixer. Its principle is rotation of the vessel in two planes at once: the product tumbles and mixes along a complex path, with no dead zones at the walls and without intensive mechanical action that would damage the structure of the fat base. That is why such mixers are used wherever gentle yet thorough distribution of ingredients throughout the volume is important.
The mixer was shipped in August 2025. It is made of stainless steel, closes hermetically and is easy to wash between batches with different fillings — switching from one recipe to another carries no risk of transferring flavours or allergens.
For the company this means consistent uniformity in every batch and fewer rejects: the filling is distributed equally throughout the volume, as spot checks confirm. Milberg makes these mixers in series, so the lead time for the customer was short, and start-up came down to installation and connection.
