A manufacturing company from the Moscow Region set a non-standard task: for a new line of thick cream products it needed a cream cooker — a cooking vessel with heating and continuous agitation, which at that time was not part of the factory's standard range.

Milberg's design engineers designed and built the unit for the customer's specific process, and in March 2024 the cream cooker was shipped to the plant. The design is based on a food-grade stainless steel vessel with a heating jacket and an agitator selected for viscous masses.

Indirect heating through the jacket rules out local overheating and burning of the product at the wall, while agitation with scraper elements continuously renews the layer at the wall. As a result, the mass heats evenly, stays homogeneous and does not require an operator to stand by the vessel at all times.

This project is an example of working on tasks outside the catalogue: when there is no standard model for a process, the equipment is designed individually, taking into account the recipe, product viscosity and site layout. The customer took part in agreeing the technical specification at every stage — from sketch to acceptance. As a result, the company received a unit that fits precisely into its technology rather than a compromise adaptation of someone else's solution.
