Pasteurization is the foundation of safety for any dairy product, and this is where the customer decided to start its upgrade. In April 2021 a private producer from Kazakhstan purchased a VDP-300 batch pasteurizer (long-time pasteurization vat) from us.

The farm processes milk from its own herd and sells the finished products on the local market. Previously the milk was simply boiled before sale — losing flavour and without accurate temperature control. The VDP-300 runs the process properly: the milk is heated through a water jacket to the set temperature and held for the required time under constant agitation, which destroys pathogenic microflora while preserving the taste of the product.

The 300 L unit is versatile: besides pasteurization, it is used to ferment milk and make cultured dairy products and tvorog (quark). For a small producer this means making several types of product on one piece of equipment without expanding the workshop or the staff.

The vat was manufactured at the Milberg factory in Yekaterinburg, tested and shipped to Kazakhstan with a full set of accompanying import documents. The customer gained a predictable, controllable process instead of makeshift boiling — and confidence in the safety of every batch that goes to customers.
